10th Annual FinPro Golf Outing

Ten years ago, we started a tradition. This year, that tradition carries more weight than ever.

In 2023, we lost Doug Cilento, and this past August, we experienced the loss of Rich Daniels. Both were giants of our industry and, more importantly, devoted fathers who left us too soon. While we remain deeply saddened by their passing, we are incredibly proud to celebrate their memories and come together as a community to support their respective families.

Doug Cilento was a force of nature in the financial industry and a beloved member of the Balyasny Asset Management community. Throughout his career at Bridgewater, HSBC, and AQR, he was known for his magnetic personality and a “larger-than-life” presence that lit up every room. A proud graduate of Villanova University, Doug was a mentor to many and a devoted family man who lived life with infectious, positive energy.

Rich Daniels was a pillar of the financial services community, most recently leading Sales and Relationship Management at MEMX. His veteran career included significant tenures at ICE, NYSE, and Merrill Lynch, as well as leadership roles at Euronext and 24 Exchange. A graduate of Fordham University, Rich was the “consummate team player” with an extraordinary heart and a legendary sense of humor. Above all, he was a dedicated husband to Nancy and a proud father to his three sons, who remember him for his selflessness and the joy he brought to everyone he met.

To accommodate our growing community and maximize our support for the families, on Tuesday, May 19th we will run two shotgun starts at Westchester Hills with a shared midday program:

Morning Flight: 8:30 AM Shotgun (Breakfast served beforehand)
Community Lunch: 11:30 AM (Open to all players from both flights)
Afternoon Flight: 1:30 PM Shotgun (Cocktails and Dinner to follow)

To reach our 10th-anniversary fundraising goals, we are looking for partners to help underwrite the day. Whether through a corporate sponsorship or a personal donation, proceeds from the event go directly to the families.
